William Dinwiddie photographs of the Rough Riders and the Cuban campaign, 1902.

Presentation album from Dinwiddie to Theodore Roosevelt of photographs presumably taken chiefly by Dinwiddie in 1898. Images include several of Roosevelt and other military officials; camps in Cuba; men in trenches and battle areas, particularly in the San Juan Heights; and other scenes of the campaign. The inside front cover of the album is inscribed in Dinwiddie's hand, without signature, "From a man who, during the Santiago Campaign, made a few photographs from safe positions, to a man whom he admires as a genius in war and a statesman in peace. New York City, April 22, 1902."
